Band Bio - April 2011

StarFunk was formed in 2007 with the goal of creating music from all genre's. Andy Meehan and Eric Moberly had already written most of the Forever album by the time Rick Daniels joined. Trey Marifjeren was then added on drums about a year later after going through a series of drummers that didn't measure up. Trey is one of the most talented drummers we had ever seen. Kevin Clark rounded out the lineup on bass in April of 2009. Andy left the band for personal reasons in May of 2009. We were lucky enough to find a very talented vocalist Charles Ray and are gearing up to start touring again. A huge surprise was in store for the band. Andy Meehan returned to the band in December of 2009.

We haved started working on our 2nd album and it has a real heavy alternative feel. I think our fans are going to like it. We should be able to release this summer (2011) and we will sell it on I-Tumes, Amazon and all of the big sites. StarFunk is back and better, heavier than ever! Don't take my word for it, come out and see us live. We hope to see you at one of our gigs soon.
